Miss Elizabeth Baraldi
Hello NES! My name is Elizabeth Baraldi and I am the Second Grade Special Education Teacher at NES. I have been teaching at NES since the fall of 2018 and love being part of this wonderful community. Prior to Second Grade, I taught in Pathways Preschool as a Pre-K teacher. In my experience in early education, I have found that each unique child has the ability to grow and surpass the expectations we have for them. I am passionate about working with children as they develop confidence as individuals and a true love for learning.
I also enjoy working as the Whaler's Varsity Field Hockey assistant head coach! When I am not teaching or coaching, I enjoy spending my spare time with my fiancee Dan, who is a 7th grade math teacher at CPS. We love nothing more than hanging out with our dog Phoebe and exploring the island with her.
Prior to NES, I was an Associate Teacher at the Park Street School in Boston. In the spring of 2021, I earned my Master's degree in Special Education with a focus on working with students with mild to moderate special needs from Merrimack College. In 2015, I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from Saint Anselm College. I am a certified teacher with an Early Childhood: With and Without Disabilities PreK- 2 license.
