School Committee

The Nantucket School Committee is dedicated to guiding the vision and policies of Nantucket Public Schools to ensure all students receive an excellent, equitable education. In partnership with the superintendent, the Committee oversees the district budget, approves educational goals and curriculum, and advocates for the needs of students, families, and staff. Rooted in the values of community, integrity, and academic excellence, the Committee works to support a safe, inclusive, and innovative learning environment that reflects the unique character of Nantucket.
