Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!

Dear Students and Families,

I hope this message finds you all enjoying a wonderful summer filled with fun, relaxation, and memorable moments! As the new school year approaches, I am excited to welcome you back to our NIS school community for the first day of school on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.  We have been busy preparing an exciting and enriching year ahead, filled with new learning opportunities, engaging activities, and special events that will make this year truly special. Our dedicated teachers and staff are eager to partner with you to create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where every student can thrive and reach their fullest potential.

Together, we will continue to build an NIS community that has a strong foundation of academic excellence, social-emotional growth, and community involvement. We encourage all families to actively partner with us to foster a strong school community where everyone feels valued and included. Working hand-in-hand will help to inspire our students to learn, grow, and succeed in every way possible.  A great opportunity to begin the year together is the upcoming Meet and Greet for all students on Thursday, August 29th from 11:00am-12:00 pm; where you can see your classroom and meet your teachers.  We will be hosting two curriculum family nights this year; one in the fall on November 14th and one in the winter on February 13th.  Please be on the lookout for these, and other opportunities in our monthly newsletter, Remind texts and Facebook page.
