Ms. Lena Civitarese

Greetings!

My name is Ms. Lena Civitarese and I am thrilled to be an ELL teacher here at Cyrus Peirce Middle School. When I returned to Nantucket a few years ago, I welcomed the opportunity to return to my hometown with the possibility of contributing to the island's school community. Now a full-time teacher, I am more confident than ever that Nantucket Public Schools is the right fit for me. I have so much respect for the caring and engaged faculty, administration, parents, and community. I feel that this is an exciting time to be a teacher in this school system, and I am grateful that I have already been able to build relationships with students and families. I hope to continue this work in the years to come.
