Degrees and Certifications:

BA in Bioscience - Ohio State University Middle Childhood Education (math/science) - Capital University

Ms. Annie Webber

I am the 7th grade science teacher at CPS.  I love creating hands-on opportunities for students to experience science and enjoy helping students develop their problem solving skills.  In 7th grade science students will cover a wide variety of topics including energy, technological systems, earth science, ecosystems, and biodiversity.  This past school year I have also enjoyed working as one of the student council advisors and hosting a middle school Environmental Club after school.

I moved to Nantucket from Columbus, Ohio in 2017 and have loved getting to be a part of the community here. I received my bachelors degree from Ohio State University in 2014.  At Ohio State I was on the pre-veterinary track focusing on bioscience, genetics, and chemistry. While in school I worked as a high school rowing coach and math/science tutor, through these experiences I discovered my passion for working with students.  After graduation I went back to school to obtain my teaching certification. I graduated from Capital University in 2017 with a certification in Middle Childhood Math and Science Education. Currently I hold initial licensure in grades 5-8 science.
