Mrs. Cathleen Bruno

Hi/Hola,

My name is Cathy Bruno and I am a system-wide speech language pathologist.  I came to NPS from New Bedford Public Schools where I had worked for twenty-five years.  I completed my undergraduate degree in foreign languages at Stonehill College and began my career in education as a Spanish Bilingual Elementary School Teacher.  I previously taught Kindergarten, grades 1, 3 and 4.  I later went back to graduate school and received my masters degree in communication disorders from the University of Rhode Island. I have worked as a Spanish Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist for the past nineteen years.  I also have experience working in hospitals, early intervention and home care.  However, my passion is working within the classroom. I am married and have two, beautiful, intelligent daughters.  In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, swimming, boating, reading and gardening.
