Mrs. Diana Graves

I have been teaching in Nantucket Public Schools since 1989. Before moving to Nantucket, I taught 3 years on the mainland in Massachusetts.  During my career on Nantucket, I have worked as: a teacher of the deaf; grade 8 science & math teacher; grade 6 math and social studies teacher; grade 5 teacher. Currently I am working as a math intervention teacher at Nantucket Intermediate School for grades 3-5. American Sign Language is my first language. Both of my parents and many of my family members are deaf. My college education training also included Bilingual Education and Linguistics. I love learning and teaching especially in math and science.
