Ms. Elise Goeglein

I am honored to be in my second year as the Assistant Principal at Nantucket Intermediate School. Although I am new in this role, I have long loved Nantucket and the strong sense of community that is present on this beautiful island.  I relocated to Nantucket in 2017 from Tucson, Arizona where I previously taught third through sixth grades as a classroom teacher. Following my classroom experience, I spent several years as an instructional coach, supporting K-6 elementary school teachers and students before coming on board with Nantucket Public Schools.  My vision for teaching and learning has always centered around the importance of building relationships with the students and families. It is essential that we work together to address our students’ strengths and weakness in order provide the proper supports that will lead them on the path to success.
