Nancy Small

Hi! I am the NIS school nurse. I have been a nurse for decades, wearing many different "hats", but all of my nursing career has involved children and their families. I received my Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Connecticut. (Go Huskies!!) I started with Nantucket school system in 2016 as a substitute school nurse and have been the NIS school nurse since it opened in 2017. I truly love my new role as the NIS school nurse. The students are great and keep me busy!

I moved to Nantucket in October, 2000. My husband is a native and our children Ryan, William, and Delaney all graduated from Nantucket High School. I am a Nana to Liliana and Owen, who live in Connecticut. I enjoy reading, biking, and relaxing at Great Point with my friends.
