Reading Department

We encourage all students to read every night. The more you read, the better you get! Like many other things such as playing sports or learning to play an instrument, reading requires practice to get better. In addition to spending time reading, we suggest playing literacy games, listening to books on tape and read out loud to your child. Any reading is good reading, so try to provide your child with reading materials that are high interest such as magazines, video game manuals, comic books, graphic novels, online books or other print formats.
