Nicole Ridge

 I am an ESL teacher at Nantucket Elementary School, working primarily with our Kindergarten students.  I love to work with bilingual learners as they begin their educational journey. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology/ Sociology and Latin American Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY and my Masters in Education with a focus on World Languages from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. I’ve always been fascinated with learning other languages, exploring new cultures and I try to travel somewhere new at least once a year. When I am not teaching, I love to explore and photograph this magical little island that we are lucky enough to call home!
