Mrs. Elizabeth Daume

My name is Elizabeth Daume. I have been teaching Kindergarten at Nantucket Elementary School for 22 years! I love Kindergarten!! I grew up in Lake Forest, Il. I am married and we have 3 children. My favorite part of being a teacher is watching young minds develop and grow as the school year progresses. It is amazing! My classroom is a very welcoming and friendly place with a structured atmosphere for healthy learning. I encourage all parents to volunteer or help as much as they can within the classroom. It shows your child the importance that you as a family put on their education. My favorite time of year is September when I get to meet a whole new group of Kindergarten families. You may see me on the weekends riding my road bike, walking my dog, or dining with my family. I love animals and the ocean. Teaching is my greatest passion!
