Ms. Samantha Maxwell

I am currently a PreK teacher and this is my fourth year at the Nantucket Elementary School. I enjoy working with our PreK students and strive to create a welcoming environment as they embark on their first educational experience. I personally believe that students learn best from their peers and I enjoy incorporating hands-on learning approaches that both motivate and encourage all students to actively participate throughout the day.

I studied Special Education at Westfield State University for my undergraduate work. I have also completed my Master’s of Education at Fitchburg State University.

I am a certified teacher with the following licenses:

• Moderate Disabilities, PreK-8
• Early Childhood: Students with and without disabilities, PreK-2
• Elementary, 1-6
• SEI (Sheltered English Immersion) Endorsement
