Patricia Harding

I am one of the Administrative Assistants at Nantucket Elementary School. I have been working for the Nantucket Public Schools since 2009 and living on Nantucket since 1999. I have a Bachelor’s Degree with a Mayor in Psychology from Xavier University in Colombia, my country of origin.  I’m committed to assisting the parents and students in becoming a positive influence in our school system, and to improving and enriching the lives of our students and families.

I’m proud to be part of some organizations in Nantucket whose missions are to help and support a healthy and diverse community.  These include: Nantucket Atheneum - Library Trustee, Friends of Nantucket Public Schools – Community Liaison, and Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention (A.S.A.P.) - Member.  I’m also a translator and interpreter for activities or programs in Nantucket that are trying to reach the Spanish Community.

I enjoy walking, traveling, reading, music, dancing, movies and spending time with my family and friends. I’m a fan of Star Wars, Patriots and Figure Skating.
