Ms. Alexis Healy-Wurzburg

Alexis Healy-Wurzburg, MOT, OTR/L received a Masters of Occupational Therapy from Worcester State University. She has been a pediatric occupational therapist for 10 years in both school and clinic settings. She has worked in school systems in Massachusetts, Maryland, and Washington. This is her third year at Nantucket Public School and she believes that early intervention with an interdisciplinary model promotes strong outcomes for students.  She is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association as well as a member of the Early Intervention and School Special Interest Section. She participated in additional education with Winnie Dunn Phd, OTR, FAOTA related to implementing sensory strategies in the classroom and home. She has also completed continuing education in fine motor and visual perceptual skill development and training in implementing the Handwriting Without Tears and Fundations handwriting programs.
