Page Martineau

I earned my bachelor's degree in English from Mount Holyoke College, where I gained a strong foundation in American literature and world literature as well as a broad base in history, and my master's degree in English education from Teachers College, Columbia University, during which time I interned at Beacon High School, an alternative portfolio-based assessment school in Manhattan. At Teachers College, I studied philosophies of teaching as well as methods, giving me a strong foundation in both philosophy and practice. I spent three more years teaching middle school English in the New York City public school system before I came to Nantucket High School in 2002. Link to webpage.
