Viewing & Guest Speakers Grading Procedure

  • When we watch a video or have a guest speaker or when your fellow students are presenting, you may be graded on how well you pay attention. I use the following factors to determine what your grade will be.

Eyes - are your eyes on the screen / speaker, is your head up

Desk - is everything off your desk, if told to have something or be doing something are you doing that

Talking - for the best grades, there should be no talking, unless you are asking me or the speaker a question

Work - if you are doing work, either for me or another class, your grade will be lowered

Viewing a film or listening to a guest speaker or classmates presentations are the easiest grades you can get in this course.
